An old style, basic hotel in good location for Ashikaga flower park
An old hotel, scrupulously clean, kind staff. Only one station away from Ashikaga flower park on JR line. Free laundry facilities. I enjoyed visiting the temple across the road at 6am.It has beautiful gardens. See photo of view from my room. Worth it to pay a little more for a bigger room.
I am used to firm Japanese beds but I found this one to be uncomfortably hard so I didn't sleep well. Difficult to adjust the water temperature in the shower. Breakfast was basic.

Good place to stay
It was a nice room with a nice view on the temple and forest next to it. It was about 10 minutes walking from the station and the staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was included and was really nice too, some Japanese options and some more Western options as well. Good stay!
There was some rust on the drawer in the bathroom, so probably quite old and might need some taking care of
